NOTE / IMPORTANT 2024-2025 Tuition Information
- Parents paying the full annual tuition by June 30, 2024 will receive a 3% discount on tuition. (The discount does NOT apply to other fees.)
- Parents requesting a payment plan will be charged an additional 3% finance fee. All payment plans must be pre-approved by the Director. All payment plans MUST result in the tuition being paid in full on or before May 1, 2024.
- The Capital Levy is a one-time non-refundable fee of US$ 5,000 for all new students. After the first year there is a US$500 annual Capital Levy fee that must be paid before the student attends classes.
- For new Pre K-3, Pre K-4 and Kindergarten students, the initial US$ 5,000 Capital Levy may be paid at the rate of US$ 1,500 per year until the end of KG, at which time the remaining balance of the original US$ 5,000 will be due. During that time, the annual US$ 500 fee will NOT be charged. The US$ 500 will come into effect in Gr 1 after the total US$ 5,000 has been paid.
- All tuition and fees are based on the US dollar amounts in the chart above. Tuition/fees can be paid in XAF at the official daily exchange rate US$ to XAF. If partial fees are paid, any balance due will be paid at the official daily exchange rate US$ to XAF on the date when the additional funds are paid.
- For families with more than one child enrolled at AISB … the oldest child pays full tuition; all children beyond the oldest receives a 5% tuition discount. The discounts apply ONLY to tuition, not to any fees or other charges. If the parent employer pays full tuition, no discounts are allotted for any of the children. If the parent employer pays a portion of the tuition, the discount applies only to the parent-paid portion of the tuition for children beyond the oldest.
ADDITIONAL / OPTIONAL FEES
LUNCH – Lunch fees must be paid before a student will be able to receive school lunch. When the annual lunch fee is paid, the student’s name will go onto a list of students who will receive lunch. If lunch fees are not paid, lunch will not be provided and students will be expected to bring their lunch to school with them each day.
AISB prefers to receive payments via direct bank deposit in one of the school’s accounts. Payment information for AISB’s local bank and U.S.-based bank is provided to the right.
