
Biography:
Bel-Gaza Beyina brings an extensive experience from the banking sector. Before founding AFRIKA FINANCE, he had been a financial auditor at the COBAC, the regulatory and supervision body of the banking system of the 6 countries of CEMAC (Central Africa Economic and Monetary Union). In this Capacity, Mr Beyina led audit and monitoring works on several banks from different parts of the CEMAC Countries.
He then entered the world of diplomacy for a little while, as he entered the Board of UNDP at the UN headquarters in New York , as the Representative of the Central African Republic in the Economic Commission of the UN General Assembly, gaining knowledge and experience on the international relations and diplomacy fields.
Bel-Gaza then went back to his origins as a banker when he was appointed Director for Expansion and Rollout at UBA Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. In that capacity, he led the market entry strategy for United Bank for Africa (UBA)-the leading African Financial Institution-into francophone african countries. Subsequently, he held several senior management roles, including Deputy General Manager of UBA Congo Brazzaville.
Currently, Bel-Gaza serves on the Board of UBA Congo as Chairman of the Board Comittee of Finance Remuneration, Nomination, and Governance and he is the Chief Executive Officer of AFRIKA FINANCE. He has managed numerous environment and infrastructure projects with major clients across Africa.
Additionally Bel-Gaza acts as an independent advisor to various governments and financial institutions in Africa. He is also a founding member of the African Foundation for Education and the American International School of Brazzaville (AISB).
